Downtown Naperville Classic Car Show — A Free Father's Day Weekend Cruise-In! 🚗
Kick off Father's Day weekend with a stroll along Jackson Avenue and the Riverwalk, where up to 100 gleaming classic cars — muscle cars, vintage convertibles, restored trucks, and everything in between — will be lined up between Eagle and Main Streets. It's totally free, totally low-key, and totally perfect for a slow Saturday morning: grab a coffee and a pastry from a downtown shop, let the kids point out their favorite colors, and let Dad geek out over the engines. Strollers and wagons welcome — the whole route is flat and walkable.

Sea Lion Aquatic Park — Slides, Splash Pads & a Lazy Vortex Pool in Lisle! 🌊
If your crew hasn't made it out to Sea Lion Aquatic Park yet this summer, this is your weekend. The Lisle Park District facility (just 10 minutes from Naperville) packs in flume slides, drop slides, a lazy vortex pool, a splash playground for the littlest ones, and a sand play area for building castles between dips. Open swim runs daily from 11:30 AM to 8 PM, with a discounted rate after 6 PM if you're looking for an evening cool-down. Heads up: if you've got a toddler under 6, Tot Swim runs Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9–11 AM with early, less-crowded admittance.

Paddleboat Quarry — Pedal or Paddle Your Way Around Downtown Naperville! 🚣
Right near Rotary Hill on the Riverwalk, the Paddleboat Quarry rents out four-person paddleboats and one- or two-person kayaks for 20- or 40-minute spins around the lagoon. It's an easy way to see downtown Naperville from a totally different angle, and kids love taking turns "driving" the paddleboat (don't worry, the pedaling is a team effort). Life jackets and quick instruction are included with every kayak rental. Open daily from 10 AM to 7 PM all summer — just show up, no reservation needed.
