Target Hair Thinning Where it Begins—at the Cellular Level

There are many products for hair thinning on the market, but they don’t all deliver on their promises. OneSkin’s OS-01 HAIR SCALP SERUM is backed by clinically validated longevity science, and proven to improve thickness and density with consistent use.

Treatments like DHT blockers address pattern thinning, and minoxidil increases blood flow to the scalp. But OS-01 HAIR is the only scalp formula to specifically address the dysfunctional senescent cells behind age-related hair thinning.

Powered by OneSkin’s proprietary OS-01 Peptide™, OS-01 HAIR SCALP SERUM targets the spread of senescent cells at the scalp, creating the optimal conditions for visibly fuller, healthier-looking hair.

Address hair thinning where it begins. Make OneSkin’s OS-01 HAIR part of your longevity stack, and optimize your hair health routine.

Happy Friday, Naperville families! 🎃
Halloween is tomorrow, so tonight is costume-check night. Quick calendar heads-up: District 204’s calendar lists Monday, Nov 2 as a conference day with no school for students, and District 203 has an e-learning day on Tuesday, Nov 3. Also, clocks fall back Sunday, which gives you one extra hour and, realistically, a kid who still wakes up at the old time. Three picks for the weekend below, two of them free.
🎃 Halloween Saturday Game Plan

📅 This Week’s Top 3 Family Picks
Kids in Halloween costumes at a farmers market parade
Pick #1
⚡ This Weekend Only
Costume Parade & Trick-or-Treat at the Naperville Farmers Market 🎃
📍 5th Avenue Station, 200 E. 5th Ave., Naperville
💰 Free to watch
👶 All ages, costumes encouraged
🕑 Sat Oct 31 • parade 10 AM, market 7 AM–noon
The market is still running on Halloween morning, and it turns into a costume parade at 10 AM with trick-or-treating from 10 AM to noon. It’s the low-stakes version of Halloween: get in a few laps of candy before lunch, grab apples or a pastry, and still have the afternoon to nap through. Parking near the train station fills up once the parade starts, so earlier is easier.

💕 Why We Love It
If you have a toddler who can’t quite handle a dark porch yet, this is the dress rehearsal. Daylight, other kids in costume, no doorbells. Get there by 9:30 and you can do the market before the crowd does.
Family among pumpkins at a small zoo
Pick #2
⚡ Last 2 Days
Pumpkin Fest at Cosley Zoo — Thousands of Pumpkins, Real Animals & a Scavenger Hunt 🪓
📍 Cosley Zoo, 1356 N. Gary Ave., Wheaton
💰 Kids 11 & under free • adults $12
👶 Toddlers to tweens
🕑 Daily 9 AM–5 PM, through Sat Oct 31
Cosley is the small, manageable zoo, which is exactly why it works with little kids. Pumpkin Fest puts thousands of pumpkins on the lawn next to the animal barns, and there’s a daily scavenger hunt. Saturday adds face painting from 11 AM to 1 PM (donation). Children’s rides cost extra, and Wheaton Park District residents get in free with their ID. Heads up: public duck feeding is off for the rest of the season because of avian flu.

💕 Why We Love It
It’s a free afternoon for the kids and $12 for the adult who wasn’t going to say no. Go Friday if you can, since Saturday is the last day and will be busier. Wear costumes if you want the pictures.
SCARE-illon Halloween concert poster: Saturday, October 31, 7:00 to 7:50 PM, free, at the Millennium Carillon in Naperville
Pick #3
⚡ Halloween Night Only
SCARE-illon — A Free Halloween Concert on the Millennium Carillon 🔔
📍 Rotary Hill, 443 Aurora Ave., Naperville
💰 Free
👶 All ages (bring a blanket)
🕑 Sat Oct 31, 7 PM • about 50 minutes
The Millennium Carillon does a Halloween concert of classic spooky-season music, played live from the tower. It starts at 7 PM and runs about 50 minutes, so it fits after trick-or-treating or before a late sugar crash. Rotary Hill is a grassy slope, which means kids can sit, lie down, or run laps without bothering anyone. Naperville Police suggest younger trick-or-treaters wrap up when it gets dark and older kids finish by 8, so this works as a calm finish to the night.

💕 Why We Love It
It’s the one Halloween thing this weekend you can do in pajamas under a costume. Bring a blanket, a thermos of something warm, and the candy haul for emergency bribes.

🍽️ Kids Eat Free This Week!
Our Top Pick runs Monday, Nov 2, the day District 204 kids are off school. The second spot is a Sunday family-friendly pick, not a confirmed free deal.
⭐ Top Pick
🍺 Warren’s Ale House — Wheaton
MONDAYS
One free kids’ meal with each paid adult meal, straight from their website. Kids’ menu is seven $8 items (grilled cheese, chicken fingers, BBQ wings), which is handy if you’re splitting a table with a picky eater. It sits right on Town Square, so you can walk it off after.
51 Town Square, Wheaton • (630) 462-5126 • Mon 11 AM–11 PM
🍔 Kindred Gastropub — Lisle
SUNDAY 11:30 AM–9:30 PM
Family-friendly spot with a kids’ menu (mac and cheese, grilled cheese, chicken strips, hamburger, $9.99 each). Some deal lists show a free kids’ meal on Sundays, but we couldn’t confirm that on the restaurant’s own site, so call before you count on it.
6460 College Rd., Suite B, Lisle • (630) 857-9505
Tuesday, Nov 3 (no school in District 203): deal lists show IHOP in Bolingbrook and Aurora with kids eating free 4–7 PM, and Denny’s 4–10 PM (kids 10 and under). We couldn’t confirm either with the restaurants, and we didn’t find a lunch deal, so call your location first.

Sunday also has Día de Muertos at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, 1 to 6 PM, if you want something calmer after the sugar peak. Lay out the costume tonight, because nobody finds a missing cape at 9 AM on Halloween. Have a good one, and save us the good candy.
Happy Halloween,
The Naperville FunTimes Team 🧡
