The Fry Family YMCA is throwing open the doors for Healthy Kids Day with a Family Fun Run/Walk, free sports clinics from North Central College (pre-reg needed), free eye screenings, plus hands-on games, special guests, and giveaways from local community organizations. Cosley Zoo — A Tiny, Charming Zoo Where Kids Get In FREE
Tucked quietly into Wheaton is one of the best-kept secrets in DuPage County — a small, AZA-accredited zoo where you can see bald eagles, red foxes, river otters, and a charming farm area with goats, sheep, and chickens. Every child under 12 gets in free, it's doable in an easy 60–90 minutes (hello, nap-time friendly!), and the paths are 100% stroller-ready. Bonus: spring hours just bumped to 5 PM, so you can swing by after a late lunch and still have time to see it all.
